About Julio Rodriguez US Customs Broker
Julio Rodriguez US Customs Broker is a licensed customs brokerage, established 2007, CBP filer code EWV, clearing freight at every port in Puerto Rico and the mainland United States from offices in Cataño, Puerto Rico and Orlando, Florida, with daily work in Miami, in English and Spanish.

The firm
Julio Rodriguez US Customs Broker Corporation was established in 2007 and has spent 19 years doing one thing: transacting customs business, lawfully and well. Two licensed customs brokers work here, Julio Rodriguez, the firm's president, and Juan Rodriguez, supported by an 18-person team of import specialists, entry clerks and account staff working in English and Spanish.
We operate our own connection to ACE, the Automated Commercial Environment, electronically linked with CBP and every partner government agency, and we file under our own CBP filer code, EWV. Our main office is at 7 C. Wilson in Cataño, Puerto Rico, minutes from the Port of San Juan; our mainland office is in Orlando, a registered Florida corporation since 2021, and we serve Miami daily with an office there in the plans. Under the national permit we file remotely at every US port, which is how we clear freight at PortMiami and Miami International Airport daily.
What we believe about this work
Customs brokerage is a licensed profession for a reason: entries, refunds and protests filed for others are customs business under 19 USC 1641, and the license is the public's guarantee that someone answerable stands behind the filing. We say what we are, licensed, and what we are not, we are not a carrier and we are not the party your goods are consigned to, because a brokerage that shades small facts should not be trusted with your big ones.
The other belief is older than the firm: freight between Puerto Rico and the mainland deserves a broker who is native to both sides of the paperwork, the CBP entry and the island's excise, SURI and APHIS filings. That lane built this firm, and it is still the work we know best.
