These terms cover the use of this website and the inquiries that start from it. They are written to be read, not to be survived. If something here is unclear, ask before you rely on it.
This website is operated by Julio Rodriguez US Customs Broker Corporation (“Julio Rodriguez US Customs Broker”, “we”, “us”), a licensed customs brokerage with offices in Miami, Florida, San Juan, Puerto Rico and Orlando, Florida. By using this site or sending us an inquiry, you accept these terms.
It is information about what we do, and a way to reach us. Nothing on it is an offer, a fee quote, or a contract, and nothing on it obliges us to accept an engagement.
The duty rates, fee percentages, refund windows, filing deadlines and transit clocks published here are a working guide, drawn from the regulations and public sources and kept as current as we can, with their as-of dates stated in the text. They change, sometimes quickly, and the statute, the regulation and U.S. Customs and Border Protection are always the authority, never this page. If a decision depends on one of these numbers, confirm it with us or with the agency first.
Reading this site is not customs advice for your shipment. What applies to a specific entry depends on its facts: the goods, the origin, the dates, the entries already filed. Using this site creates no broker-client relationship and no professional or advisory relationship with us. That relationship begins when you engage us, with a signed Power of Attorney, and the engagement’s own terms govern the work itself.
An inquiry through this site starts a conversation; it is not an engagement and it does not start a filing, a deadline watch, or any other obligation on our side. If a date matters to your situation, say so in the inquiry and confirm in the reply that we have taken it on. Until we have agreed in writing to act, no filing is ours to make.
Brokerage fees are quoted per engagement, in writing, before we begin. A figure on this site describing how the market prices a service is information about the market, not a quote from us.
The text and design on this site belong to Julio Rodriguez US Customs Broker Corporation or its licensors. You are welcome to read it and share links to it. Please do not copy or reuse it commercially without our written permission.
Please use the site normally. Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to it, do not scrape it in bulk, and do not use the intake form for automated or unsolicited submissions.
The site is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be error free, uninterrupted, or fully up to date.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability arising out of this website is limited to the greatest extent permitted, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of it. Responsibility for an engagement is governed by that engagement’s own agreement, not by these terms.
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and the version in effect when you send an inquiry is the one that applies to it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, without regard to its conflict of law rules. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
This site is published in English and Spanish. These terms are maintained in English, and the English version is the one that governs.
